| NORTH AMERICAN INVITATIONAL REGATTA |
The SAN DIEGO CRUISER ASSOCIATION is presently planning to host
the 2008 NORTH AMERICAN INVITATIONAL Regatta.
Current plans are to host this regatta in the fall of 2008. Dates are set
for October 1 thru October 4 for this event. San Diego Yacht Club will
be the Host yacht club this year.
The North American Invitational (NAI) Regatta is sponsored annually
by the North American Cruiser Association (NACA), representing
Cruiser Associations and Clubs throughout the United States.
This regatta brings together the top cruiser navigation contestants
from each of 13 member associations from the past year for a three
day venue capped by a 35 nm. predicted log contest.
The NAI Trophy goes to the individual skipper who has the best score
among all contestants, earning recognition of the "Best of the Best."
